Recently, NoseDisplay unveiled its first self-developed flexible OLED foldable display. Featuring a top-to-bottom folding design, the 6.67-inch screen boasts a 20:9 aspect ratio and 2400×1080 resolution. It supports 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
NoseDisplay‘s first self-developed foldable full-screen display employs novel materials and an independently designed modular structure. Regarding materials, the bending substrate utilizes carbon fiber instead of traditional SUS alloy. This ensures material performance while significantly reducing product weight, achieving an ultra-thin 0.5mm design for the entire screen. Compared to conventional flexible displays, it delivers a noticeably lighter and slimmer user experience. Second, BCDTEK abandons traditional CPI materials in favor of ultra-thin glass UTG, achieving superior bending performance while providing users with more durable and reliable screen protection. Structurally, BCDTEK optimized the film layer configuration to minimize stretching and misalignment during folding, reducing the risk of cracks. The foldable screen employs a novel teardrop-shaped bending structure with a 3mm bending radius for superior folding performance. Through material and structural enhancements, it passes ≥200,000 folding tests.
Notably, this foldable display utilizes our self-developed WFD100 screen tester for illumination. This system employs ARM+FPGA architecture to drive MIPI-DPHY signals in both Video and Command modes. Compared to competitors, its standout voltage compensation design ensures stable voltage output to the display, enabling more reliable screen operation. Real-time voltage and current monitoring, coupled with instantaneous load power feedback, significantly enhances photometric evaluation efficiency.
