BCDTEK has completed the first light-up test for its Micro OLED production line, marking an important manufacturing milestone in silicon-based OLED and microdisplay development. The initial product features a 0.49-inch display with 1920×1080 resolution and full-color brightness above 3,000 nits. Reliability validation will continue before customer supply and volume production.
The production line combines semiconductor and microdisplay expertise with emissive materials, silicon-based drivers and advanced packaging processes. The resulting displays are designed for high brightness, high contrast, low power consumption and compact near-eye display applications.
BCDTEK is developing Micro OLED products for AR and AI glasses, FPV, infrared night vision and VR applications. Product availability, performance targets and customization options are evaluated on a project basis with the relevant BCDTEK engineering team.
