Which open-cell panels do you use for large industrial displays?
For large-format custom display projects, we use BOE or HKC industrial-grade OC panels only. Panel selection is based on the required size, resolution, interface, availability, viewing angle, reliability, and target application.
Can you provide wide-temperature large TFT displays?
The operating-temperature range depends on the selected BOE or HKC OC panel. After the exact OC is confirmed, we evaluate its temperature specification and develop the supporting backlight, driver board, and touch solution for the application.
Do you support custom CTP touchscreens?
Yes. We provide custom CTP solutions through our own CTP production line. For large industrial displays, we generally recommend G-G capacitive touch panels for durability, optical performance, and long-term use. The CTP can be matched with the selected OC, backlight, driver board, cover glass, and mechanical structure.
What is the typical CTP development time and cost?
A custom CTP project typically requires about 4 weeks, with a development fee of approximately US$2,000. Final timing and cost depend on the touch structure, cover glass, drawing, interface, and validation requirements.
Do you recommend a custom backlight or an existing backlight design?
We generally recommend using an existing backlight design whenever it meets the project requirements. This reduces development time, engineering cost, and project risk while helping customers move to sampling and production faster.
What is the timeline and cost for a new backlight design?
A new tooled backlight development typically requires about 6 weeks, with a development fee of approximately US$20,000. The final plan depends on panel size, optical requirements, brightness target, mechanical design, and validation scope.
Can you integrate the backlight, driver board, and CTP as one solution?
Yes. We can integrate the BOE or HKC OC panel with a custom or existing backlight, driver board, and matched CTP solution. This approach helps ensure mechanical, optical, electrical, and touch compatibility for large-format industrial display projects.
